History

  • This mission work started in 1994 as an extension work of Bethel AG Church, Vakathanam by Pastor Mani Varghese and a member Mr.N A Kurian Naduvileparambil (Kuttappan) with Padiyara as working area.
  • Then this mission work was taken by the Home Missionary Council (HMC) of Bethel Bible College,Punalur.HMC member Pr.Binoy N Chacko was the first pastor.Then Pr. K A Oommachan and Pr.Sunny Varughese continued the mission work till 1999.
  • From 2000 Pr. Roy Varghese is doing this mission work
  • In 1995 one of the member Mr.  Pappachan Kayakkulam gave a piece of land 10 cents for this church at Karyakkulam Padi.
  • In 1996 parsonage and church hall foundation was laid and prayer started at the parsonage
  • On  July 19 of 2011 the new building work started
  • The  new building is inaugurated on 21.02.2013 along with the “Pathamuttom convention”which is being conducted by the church every February(since 2006).
